I have no preference on what quilt is finished first, quilting-wise, except the rose window *does* need to have a frame built for it.
You know, don't you, that you're going to come to a screeching halt on the large (center) quilt if Steve's not done.
And about your earlier question about if I'm going to be bent outta shape if I don't "get to" sew black leading? Nah. Though I WILL feel guilty if all I end up doing is Steve and cutting one kaleidoscope block.
